LIMITED QUOTA ELK HUNT

Hunt Area 63/64

Consider These Tactics:

  • Camp where glassing/listening knobs are easily accessible

  • Hunt the heads of drainages in September where feed and water is best

  • Expect to look over many bulls before finding THE one to go after

Important Notes:

  • The country can be cliffy and steep - watch your step

  • Big optics are highly recommended

  • Grizzly bears are THICK. Take precautions. Bears will be high on the mountain until the first frost then drop to willow bottoms when moths are gone.
