3-Year Elk Harvest Stats: 18% (Fair)
Consider These Tactics:
Put binos on a tripod and glass, glass, glass if elk are quiet
Run a bugle-heavy plan to locate talkative bulls in thick timber and park-filled areas
Be sure to be in position 1-2 miles from the roads to avoid heavy foot traffic before elk head to bed
Important Notes:
Do NOT pet the bison
Be mobile to stay out of elk that have been buggered by wolves
Bring plenty of cordage to hang meat high and keep it away from grizzly bears
